CEO of the Economic Society of Tanzania
Dr. Blandina Kilama has practical experience in research, training and policy analysis. She is a senior researcher, at REPOA, a Tanzanian think tank based in Dar es Salaam. She is the CEO of the Economic Society of Tanzania. Her engagement in dialogues, publications locally and internationally are derived from her work in value chains in agriculture, economic transformation, financial inclusion, SDGs, women empowerment, nutrition and poverty. Blandina is a Joint Programme Director of the five years research programme on “Tanzania as a future Petro State”. She holds a PhD from Leiden University, a Master’s (MPAID) from Harvard Kennedy School and her first degree from the University of Dar es Salaam.
